Short Films Festival Begins in Arbil

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Short Films Festival, under the slogan (No to Violence), began today here with the participation of 15 short films, officials said here.   The films tackled subjects on violence against women, within the Kurdish Ministry of Culture and Youth to minimize violence against women.   Director General of Cinema Department Nassir Hassan declared that the festival will last for four days.   He pointed out that the films are short and documentary on violence committed against women.   Four women directors took part in the festival.   Eight rewards shall be given to the winning films.   783
