Sunni endowment announces Friday first day of Eid

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Sunni Endowment announced that next Friday will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr (Lesser Bairam), underling that Thursday is the last day of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, head of the Sunni Endowment said on Wednesday. “Tomorrow (Thursday) is the last day of Ramadan, and Friday (Sept. 10) will be the first day of Eid,” the head of the Sunni Endowment, Sheikh Abdulghafor al-Samaraee, said.
