Technical education accepts 4,454 students

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Head of the Technical Education Organization said that 4,454 new students were accepted into the organization’s colleges and institutes for the education year 2008-2009. “7,155 students had applied to the organization, but we accepted only those with a GPA of no less than 60 percent, provided that they are no older than 24,” Dr. Mahmoud Shakir Abdulhussein told IraqiNews.com. “22 fields of technical studies will embrace the new students,” he added.
