Thunderstorms strike Southern Iraq’s Missan Province, 30 people injured:

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Powerful thunderstorms have struck southern Iraq’s Missan Province on Sunday night and early on Monday, wounding 30 persons, causing major material damage and cutting the electric power in different parts of the Province, a health source said. “Missan’s General Hospital had recieved 30 people, injured by thunderstorms that struck the Province and most wounded persons have been treated in the hospital,” the health source told IraqiNews.com news agency, adding that the Province had not seen such thunderstorms since long.
