UN celebrates HABITAT, warns Iraq of temp increase
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The United Nations is celebrating today World Habitat Day in an expression of the right of everyone to have suitable residence and to remind the world of the future of the earth. In a statement released by the UN office in Iraq, as was received by IraqiNews.com, it pointed to climate change and the global responsibility to address this question. It warned that Iraq will be affected by rising temperatures, which necessitates finding new policies to counter this problem.
