Women in Thi-Qar demonstrate demanding rights

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Women in Thi-Qar on Tuesday demonstrated demanding to activate the performance of the Ministry of State for Women’s Affairs and to provide job opportunities. Demonstrators also demanded that the minister for women’s affairs not resign, according to one of the demonstration’s organizers. “Slogans that do not change the reality are not enough,” Muna al-Hilali told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The resignation of the minister for women’s affairs is a loss for us, and we demand that the premier reject it,” she added.
